Sudetendeutsches Freikorps (Sudeten German Free Corps) fighters enjoy a hot drink and wear a smile for the photographer. The SF was a Sudeten German paramilitary group made up of ethnic Germans that was supplied and trained by the German government to operate inside Czechoslovakia. The SF was active from 1937 to 1939, committing assassinations and acts of sabotage against the Czechoslovakian government and industry. The absorption of Czechoslovakia by Germany after the Munich Agreement halted its operation in March 1939.
